Today we wake up in Santa Barbara and although we have a long drive ahead, we'd like to check out the town at least a little before moving on. The gentleman at reception is extremely helpful in what to see, how to get there, etc. This is where we get heaps confused with the whole tipping scenario; not sure if you are supposed to tip these guys (who are usually very helpful) or whether this is part of the service. ... including the Governor's suite and the Presidential suite complete with a secret room. The suites were unbelievably old west and looked great - the door to the secret room was a library case which sprang open with a flick of something! ... s for us all to try (I actually thought it sounded and looked disgusting but was forced into trying it and actually thought it was pretty good.) We stayed at the funfair all evening and all had a really good night it was a classic American funfair and was cool to do something a little different.
