... physically sick, and we lay awake in bed until our early morning flight. It couldn't come quickly enough.

I know people say that Manila grows on you, and we surely didn't have enough time to form much of an opinion; but I don't think anywhere has left such a negative impression on us around the world.

We have just over two weeks left, so with heavier hearts, it's time to move on.

Next stop: Nusa Lembongan, a little island off the coast of Bali!

for being nice and helpful. I really felt like a guest that they actually
wanted to stay in their hotel. I’ve had the misfortune of staying in other
hotels where I swear the people were almost hostile. So yeah, just the fact
that the staff was really nice guarantees that I’ll be staying in this hotel

... food court. This was not your everyday Clackamas Town Center food court, this had everything, and it all looked good. We chose some traditional Filipino food of lumpia, pancit, and BBQ pork. The food was great as we chowed down talking about the craziness that was Manila.
