... of town in a rural-ish area. It's peaceful, homely and the wood fire was in full swing for us when we arrived back after our long day.

The second activity recommended to us by the Information Centre was a drive (or hike if we had the time) up to Mount Battie for views of the area. This was absolutely worth it! We would have loved to hike, but our time here is limited and we were keen to cover as much ground as ...

We spent last week at Camden Hills State Park just north of Camden Maine.  I attended a photo workshop at Maine Media Workshops in Rockport, Maine, learning all kinds of cool things.  We went out on a couple photo shoots and sat in classrooms learning from Master photographers about things like photoshop and printing, and mainly how to make better photos  At the very least, I ...

It’s been really nice to spend the week with these interesting people, and to gain their perspective about the things we’re doing. ... on Route 1, with our mailbox coming into view and a left turn into the driveway. Everything seemed to be a blur as I tried to remember what it was like the morning we left on April 15th and how lush and green everything looked. As I pulled into "my" parking place, I looked down at the odometer and it read "10,755" miles. Our trip was officially over.
It will take a couple of days to completely get our "RV" cleaned out and everything ...

... straight up the side of the Mt (see pictures). The view up top is spectacular and worth the hike.
Have dinner then drive back up Mt Battie to watch fireworks in Camden Harbor for the festival. Just sitting up there at night watching the lights of the town and boats is great but add in 25 minutes of good fireworks and you have a fantastic end to a busy day!
      Loving Maine! Good night!
