... Mark couldn't finish his drink! That's saying something!!! We went for a walk after lunch and then headed back to our villa. Everything shuts between 2pm-5pm while the people go to sleep!!! I guess that's how the Greeks kick on until 2am!!! We had a sleep then headed over to Andy's. We thought Andy and Marco had gone to their restaurant to prep for their lunch time and evening meals, only to find that Andy's leg had swollen up through the night ...

We awoke to a beautiful sunny morning. We could hear boats putting out of the harbour, roosters crowing, birds singing and the occasional goat bell ringing from the hills above. Quite a lot of sailing boats and big keel boats have come in for the night. Flags from numerous countries are fluttering from their masts. It's such a beautiful natural port, that sailors know it's ...

... welcome us properly. He rushes into the kitchen area and returns with a dish of small fried fish, bread and bean stew. 'THIS is real Greece' he announces proudly, pointing to his offering... 'on me.' There's no point trying to tell him we're racing for a ferry... this is an important moment of Greek hospitality. We do our best to consume it with suitably effusive and appreciative noises and then we're off on the tortuous road ...

... was hanging from our air conditioner and last night it was an elephant - pictures included. They have a great sense of humour!
Yesterday we landed at Argostoli in Greece. It wasn’t a long walk from our ship but very hot. We didn’t have a lot of time here so we got on a little tourist train that took us around the township. In all honesty there wasn’t much here so we just stopped and had a nice lunch of grilled octopus, grilled halumi ...
