You have to take a tunnel under the road to get to the Japanese garden where the water lilies grow. We took a few thousand photos as every step revealed a beautiful scene you wanted to take with you. Gretchen kept stopping to smell flowers and Lars kept pointing to every pretty flower. It was a really good ...

For breakfast, we had eaten bread and water to get her assimilated to her situation, should her hearing go south. We showed up at her summons time (somewhere between 9-5). The policeman was friendly, but stern, with the accused. He sent us to the Tobac store (tobacco) across the street to pay the fine and return post haste with the proper ...

... br> Just next door was the car rental office (good planning). In a few minutes the nice lady had our car ready to go. We have a pint sized Toyota Yaris, but perfect for just the two of us. Gas costs about $7 per gallon, if I have it figured correctly (!), so using a little car is better. We just tell them we left our Rolls Royce at home.

    Basically, the day ...
