Today was an epic journey to visit two of my favourite exchange students: Luzi and Christian. Luzi has an insane schedule. He works in Berne, lives with his brother in Zurich, often visits his girlfriend in Basel, and goes to school three days a week in St. Gallen. Great day had by all . Back into France tomorrow so time to start more planning. ...

Once aboard, we quickly realized that we were on that same train headed to Zurich and we joked about trying to sneak past our stop. When we approached Lugano and still no one had been by to collect our tickets, we thought "what the heck?" and stayed aboard. Convinced that we had beaten the system (yes, there was a high-five involved), we were quickly put in our place ...

... in a cab knowing it would cost us but had no idea where the heck our hotel really was. Driving and driving up winding roads in the dark I was getting a bit worried. Our cabbie seemed nice enough but you never know. Got there and tinkered with the lock box for our key. Settled in and decided to do some exploring to find the restrooms and showers. I felt like we were on a mission with our little flashlight tiptoeing around the dark hotel. It was completely silent and ...
