      ... me some time to have a think about future plans however, which has been useful - I've even applied to some UK graduate schemes, but I'm not sure how that will go! Anyway, this was just a quick note. I'm back in the snow. But I'm not going to ruin my nice sunny post with pictures of the snow. That's for next time!       500ml 35% thick cream (I guess in the UK that would be double cream)
      4 egg yolks
      125ml maple syrup
      1 tsp flour
      sugar for sprinkling on top

      ... be fair, I do need to get to the registration office when it's open to register her as mine, so far I've been struggling to do so because the woman has been off sick. Only in Sainte-Anne-Des-Monts is there only one person who runs the registration office - with no replacements when she can't make it!
