It's crazy the little things you miss living abroad - and seeing all kinds of things in the shop that I couldn't buy without bankrupting myself was fairly difficult.     ... takes us between 50-60 minutes to get there usually, and the video is of the last half hour coming home after we left early because we knew the weather was coming in. I have found though that the Canadians are very good at dealing with bad road conditions. The roads are cleared very well, at least compared to the UK, and I've never felt unsafe driving. I guess it helps that the roads are much wider as well. Actually, that's a lie. I hate ...

    ... than anticipated.

    We had such an adventure on that drive though. We came back the scenic route, and found the World's Longest Covered Bridge, and also went through the Parc de la Gaspesie. I'm sure Chris has some gorgeous photos as we took it slowly and stopped whenever we saw things that were pretty.
