      ... than anticipated.

      We had such an adventure on that drive though. We came back the scenic route, and found the World's Longest Covered Bridge, and also went through the Parc de la Gaspesie. I'm sure Chris has some gorgeous photos as we took it slowly and stopped whenever we saw things that were pretty.       ... SO GOOD. And really relatively healthy as well. Less than 100 calories per cake, and really moist and yummy. Super easy to make too.

      On Friday we made them with the students, and then decorated them as Frankensteins, which were super cute.       ... choice of 5 desserts. Pumpkin pie, apple crisp, chocolate crispy cakes, Reese's peanut butter cake and my maple syrup creme brulee (really easy and yummy, so I've put the recipe at the bottom!) It was a really nice evening.

      ... so far has been here and it will be hard to beat. The snow capped mountains meeting a serene blue lake is unbeatable.

      After our breathtaking and most epic hikes we did something a little less epic but so necessary which was shower and do our laundry. Feeling clean and refreshed, we drove back through the mountains, picked up some seafood pie and drove to St Madeleine du Riviere du Madeleine (Yes ...
