At the museum inside the fortress, I took some pictures of pictures, but also other stuff. I tried to capture the highlights, mostly the assassination of King Aleksandar in France in 1934, the chaos and killing around WW2 and the NATO bombing campaign of 1999.

... the wandering "gypo kids" amusing. As planned, we arrived for Majka's birthday and celebrated with champagne, a delicious Serbian feast and flowers.

... a fantastic ride; there's little traffic the road surface is smooth and the wind is roughly behind me. The road climbs up a bit through some woods so there is variety in the scenery too. Its ace and probably the best riding in Serbia so far.

The scene is being set for the Iron Gates; a narrow gorge which constricts the danube (and may have been a model for the "Gates of Mordor").
