Tivoli - Villa Adriana und Villa d'Este
... anderenorts weiterverwendet.
When in Rome
... precisely you’re looking at. Any readers of Terry Pratchett in my audience will appreciate my suspicions that Terry got most of his vocabulary and ideas for describing Khum Valley by transposing Villa Gregoriana onto a larger scale; there is a Hell’s Valley, Neptune’s Cave, and a waterfall that has cut its way into various sinkholes through flooding that drops through the Syren’s Cave. Another day trip away from Rome
... All in all, another successful visit, and another good day. I'll be sure to repeat the spontaneous visits, as they seem to be very enjoyable and a great excuse to get out of Rome for a while. So, another entry is sure to follow Sicily! A possible visit to Capri is coming up this weekend, or the soccer match with Rome v. Milan (huge game!), it all depends on if we can tickets.
Ciao!
