Arriving Back to Amsterdam
After we got on the train, we had to stop at another station because a passenger was sick, and for some reason the police had to come on board. An English guy next to us was upset, because he had a plane to catch. After that it was smooth sailing and we made it back into town. Thank you Adam for a great day! This could be one of the best days so far.

... look onto the waterways to have a nice breakfast and to enjoy the scenery and the tourist boats who seem to think I am special enough to take a picture (I am sure I must look wonderful with my mouth full of delicous food :-) ).

Before though I walk through the red light district and laugh heavily inside of me when I see some English guys coming out of a hotel right next to one of the play houses, getting into a pre-ordered ...

After several bus rides, we were now veterans of the Bloopy Card. This marvellous piece of modern technology allowed us to hop on and off buses and trams at will, merely touching the Bloopy Card on the electronic pad at the start and end of the journey. The fact that there were eight of us, made the process more fraught, as we sometimes had to start checking out the moment we set off. On this occasion, I was keen to get out of the bus, as the lanky man on the seat ...

... I met were friendly and if was a nice end to the weekend! The name of the hostel was called jorplace. So, that was the first few exciting weeks and there is plenty more to come! Oktoberfest starts next Thursday (18 sept) with a bus ride from Amsterdam to Munich. A week later I will be moving into the GSU dorm rooms and the beginning of university in Germany starts. Lots to look forward to! I will update in a week or two :) Until next time. ...
