Our last day in Alaska. We spend our last night in the motorhome in a nice state campground about 25 miles south of Anchorage on Turnagain Bay. Other than that, I saw a car manufacturing plant in Flint with the most smoke stacks ever, I had my first crossing of the mighty Mississippi River (maybe at its most narrow point at Le Clair, IL), saw loads of farms in Iowa, drove my first two hours of the trip, and witnessed Bob master the new iExit app on my phone to find the best hotel here in the lovely Des Moines, Iowa. Oh yeah, and finished at +3 ...
