... the lunch hour began. The builders came in in hordes. Seated, supplied with bread and wine followed by pasta and then time to get back to work. We moved on and later found a great pizza place. Pizzas are good here (unlike Rome). We then followed Fabio's advice and caught the ferry into Como. We spent the afternoon walking about the main part of the city - lovely old buildings, huge Duomo (surprise!!), partially unfinished waterfront, shops ...

Despite the guys trying to sell you stuff it was great strolling around the piazza once again and we pretty much spent the whole day around. We also went to the Castello Sforzesco wich reminded me a lot of Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome. Gothic. I wanted to go because I knew that it was different and I like trying new things.

What I loved the most about Milan was the Duomo. This beautiful Gothic Cathedral left me speechless. I can't find the words to describe how beautiful and amazing this building is. It was just perfect and to know it was build such a long time ago makes it even more amazing.
I knew as I was leaving Milan, heading to Venice, I was about to have a life changing experience.

From the Milan train stn to the Biassono trn stn and our entry gate, police were all over. They even gave us special wrist bands that identified us with our seating section. While in our section we watched the the entire GP2 race as well as the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup race. I ...
