      ... side arm walking down the street ) , Salem and Portland City. Because of all the delays we didn't arrive at King station Seattle till about 1.00 am and then onto our accommodation @ Fox Gloves and into bed at about 1:30. The complete journey was about 27 hours long and travelled about 1600 km.       ... had a bit of a dilemma, as most people said it was better to go up the 'Columbia Centre' tower instead, so you could see the Space Needle rather than be stood on it, plus it was miles cheaper. But we didn't want to come all the way here and say we didn't go up the Space Needle, so we stuck to our guns and decided we'd go! Our first stop though, was the pub! Yes, the pub at lunch time!!
