    ... and Khrushchev when he was visiting the States among others.

    And then in the gallery they had an exact replica of the space shuttle which was what all the astronauts used when they were training to go into space. It was donated to the museum a couple of years ago. Very cool to go in that :)

    After that we went back to town and went to the Columbia Building to the observation deck, this is the tallest building in Seattle and cheaper ...

    ... the game we went back to where we were dropped off and got the shuttle back to our hotel. We then walked up the street to Walgreens and grabbed some snacks for dinner. A fruit cup and a mini Ben & Jerry's icecream it was, since bruch was still chilling in my stomach.
    Once again (surprise, surprise), Law & Order: SVU was on TV, so we decided that it was time to chill and watch our favourite TV channel before drifting off into the land of nod. Peace out from Seattle ...

    ... two sweaty heaps in our hostel and spent a good hour or so relaxing and playing cards. That night our hostel was doing a free spaghetti dinner, so we killed time until 7pm, meeting some delightful Canadians and getting into a round of Head's Up with them. The common room was packed out by the time dinner was served, and I along with two other travellers (Lee and Paul) volunteered to wash up after dinner. The reward for this of course was we got to eat first! ...

    ... to call Australia home and I am looking forward to saying good bye to America for now. We have seen so much beauty and so many awe inspiring places, we have experienced so many wonderful things and have created memories that will last a lifetime but I'm ready to go. I like a country with gun regulations and strictly enforced speed limits, I like our public health and welfare systems and I like feeling safe enough to walk through the streets on my own and not be hassled ...
