... I find myself trying hard to tune into to conversations around me, hoping to pick up words or phrases that I understand.

After this week, I'm starting to feel more confident using public transportation to get around. It is still nerve-racking whenever I go to speak German but it will get easier the more I practice and learn. We are very happy to be able to call Munich our home for the next few ...

The morning train ride back to Munich was beautiful and peaceful only a couple of hours long and smooth. We all went for a brekkie around the corner where you had to literally be an expert at physics to order breakfast, so much so I had to leave the venue after my vegie juice. We all then made our way to the central station to catch the train to Frankfurt to spend the next 3 nights chillaxing, a couple of bootcamps and runs along the Main River, BBQ on the terrace balcony and ...

    Munich - day 18

... hang out with some of the people from the tour. Same crowd: Paul, Pam, Juan, Steve, Mavis (it was her birthday), Tanya, Pattie and Nelson. Then we headed home to our tiny room which I didn't mention before. It was smaller than our Tokyo room! It was also hilarious because all the rooms seems to be double beds for once but not so good for the random men who ended up together and the girls, things would have been a little close because the bed was right up ...
