Great Location, and budget friendly place to stay

The Sendlinger Tor location is fabulous. So close to many restaurants and within walking distance to everything! Also, right next to the metro. The neighborhood is cute, and even though you are in next to places that tend to get loud at night, you can't hear a thing!

Samson still not 100% today. He woke with plenty of energy after a good night's sleep. We departed by 10.30 and headed onto the auto-bahn for Munich. The plan was to stop to visit the Audi factory on our way at Ingolstadt, but Samson fell asleep in the car saying he was cold again. We decided to press on to Munich and arrived about 2pm. We checked …

So my time in Munich was up! It was a fantastic stay but it was important to leave, as it was the sort of place I could have stayed around in for ages! When I first arrived, I wasn't blown away by it, but as the days went on it grew on me, and now it's defiantly a place I'd like to return. Of all the amazing parks and gardens I've seen on the trip, the Englischer Garten tops the ...

Today began with a shake, disrupting my well-earned sleep. Seriously. Yesterday I rode a bus packed to the brim with Asian tourists, took 500,000 pictures, walked up at least 800 stairs and down another 1562, and finally climbed a mountain in frigid temperatures with no oxygen supplement. In the old days they called that a full day of work and let you sleep in to a reasonable hour the next day.

... The beer was great and the food awesome. Myself and Jake enjoyed half pork leg's, Lauren a pork roast and Maddy a traditional pasta and meat sauce dish. We could hardly finish it before walking back to the ever-increasingly rowdy campground. We could have easily joined the party, but thought wise to charge the batteries for the big day ahead tomorrow. The first bus leaves the campground at 7am in the morning to head into the beer halls and we want to be on that. ...

Whilst the boys begin at the lower levels and discover a working reconstructed mine, a full-sized submarine, various ships and old planes, Gisela starts at the top and gradually works her way down. On the deck are sun dials of various kinds, but also a great view across most on Munich. There are many ...
