The Sendlinger Tor location is fabulous. So close to many restaurants and within walking distance to everything! Also, right next to the metro. The neighborhood is cute, and even though you are in next to places that tend to get loud at night, you can't hear a thing!

Samson still not 100% today. He woke with plenty of energy after a good night's sleep. We departed by 10.30 and headed onto the auto-bahn for Munich. The plan was to stop to visit the Audi factory on our way at Ingolstadt, but Samson fell asleep in the car saying he was cold again. We decided to press on to Munich and arrived about 2pm. We had a good trip from Rothenburg to Munich with only a small incident. While waiting for a train in Steinach, an Italian lady started asking all of us if she was reading the information board correctly (in German) that the train we were waiting for wasn't coming. A jarring transition saw us go from sipping Italian wines
from beautifully-labeled bottles to trying to get hold of palm wine in Sierra
Leone, West Africa. Palm wine is actually the fermented sap from a palm tree.

... praises for the last few years. It didn't disappoint! It would have to be up there with my favourite beers. We caught the train back and parted ways with Matthias and Dean as they were heading back to work in Kaiserslauten and London respectively. It was good to catch up with Matthias again as he is a really nice guy, and Dean has told me I should visit him in Washington DC so I might have to start planning a trip to the USA!
The next day I had planned to do ...
