The Sendlinger Tor location is fabulous. So close to many restaurants and within walking distance to everything! Also, right next to the metro. The neighborhood is cute, and even though you are in next to places that tend to get loud at night, you can't hear a thing!

When things started to get a bit quiet we left Augustiner and had a walk around the grounds it's like a giant Royal Show. It was time for another drink so we headed over to the Hofbräuhaus. We found Matts Brazillian friends here, made friends with some random Swiss guys, spoke with a bouncer ...

I think europe needs to reduce the number of people there are. Actually I think the whole world needs to reduce numbers. As we get back to Munich, we stop at haxnbauer, which I think must translate to 'pork knuckle heaven' and get pork knuckle, red cabbage, mashed potato and Weissbiers. BEST. MEAL. OF. THE. ...

We walked with him to the train station as he was helping deejay buy a train ticket, and after that we said our goodbyes and got a quick free drink at the hostel bar. We are now in bed. ... took their sweet time to get down. By the time you get to the last bit of the glass, its pretty warm and flat... But there is nothing quite as satisfying as finishing that first stein and proudly ordering the next one. This was ordered in the HB tent. A tent even bigger than the last. We went straight outside and landed next to some Aussie folk. We drank, and prost, and talked and ate (German food is incredible) until about 7pm... When it was time to go home.

The next day I was checking out of the hostel and meeting Bridget before we made our way to the campgrounds where we would spend three nights. I waited at the hostel until 12 when Bridget arrived from Prague on the bus. On the way into the campgrounds ...
