It was a plank of mini quiche, ham, Brie, bread, bacon, apple, melon, yoghurt with blueberries and an apple and ginger shot.... Deeeelish! We've searched the last ...

... we anticipated 0-4 metres/second ie 0 – 8 knots and we had 12-14 knots a great deal of the time. However, the wind was blowing from the SSE so we could sail and did so, in bright sunshine and flat seas, all the way to Hirtshals, switching off the engine which we used to enter the harbour at 15:30, bows into the pontoon and fastened at the stern with a line through a single buoy.

The harbourmaster here is a ...

... the remainder of the day was a little last minute shopping and an afternoon walk back into the dunes in the direction of the buried church. Once out of the wind, one could almost imagine it being warm but the air still insists on holding on to a chill factor. Still, it was a pleasant walk and on the way home, we passed a small folk museum that we have yet to go to, we’ll leave that for another day / ...
