We were awake before the alarm went off and got to Kristiansand in good time to join the queue for the ferry. Most of the other MH's were Norwegians heading for the Sun! The crossing took 3 and a half hours, and most people on board seemed to spend this ...

A beautiful morning, blue skies and warm. We had to arrive 2.5 hrs before our 11.30 sailing and drove into the port at 8.45 to be greeted by what looked like a shambles. The surf was very fishable and I would have loved to throw a bait there. I'm sure I would have caught ...

Escape day!! It was sunny and relatively calm (at last) and the forecast looked good for our plan to round the tip of Denmark and venture down the coast a little, in the North Sea (first time out of the Baltic area for 5 years). Our destination was the ferry port of Hirtshals, where ferries cross to Kristiansand in Norway and where we hope to go on Saturday. The distance we had to cover today was only about 30 miles so there was ...
