... to the Poullard bakery to pick up some croissants for breakfast and some supplies for our train trip. I will miss the fougass lardons et formage! It's kind of like a pide with bacon and cheese. We all really enjoyed this one. And the muffins were the best I have ever had! We had a hotel room picnic breakfast then watched some TV. We were ready way too early. The train boarded at 12:19 and it was only 9:30! So we watched some more TV, all in French. I was too nervous ...

I practiced some French with the cab driver to get us to the hotel which was very rusty after three years of studying Korean. We were across from a shopping mall but it was -10 degrees and we were busy the whole time with the conference, dinners, and lunches.

... Hill, ON, because the price in Ontario was 10 cents per liter cheaper than in Quebec. 10 cents per liter is 38 cents per gallon. Quite a difference. We pulled into the KOA at noon. Today we meet up with Mike and Jean, and they pulled in at 1PM. We'll spend the rest of the trip with them. After a nice afternoon of catching up with them, we dressed for dinner and drove to the subway station ...

There was a marina of expensive yachts, old warehouses, a park, and more historic buildings, then back to Old Montreal. Decided to look for Chinatown for a meal there, on this final evening in Montreal. Chinese restaurants are the same everywhere outside Asia, and I could have been Melbourne instead of Montreal.
