      ... old buildings. It would be good to be able to retain some of the commentary .Notably this section of our trip has been becoming très français with most advertising etc in French which seems somewhat odd in Canada although the guide today was proudly Canadian at the expense of the French spoke English and French very well and was a little critical of the way French people spoke French!! Not an enthusiastic photo snapper ...

      ... we needed to leave the room at some point as we had no lunch or dinner stuff. So after Adalia woke up we went for a Maccas lunch. This was an experience and a half. There are no covered walkways, so the few shopfront awnings were crammed with homeless men, all with their hands out asking for money. We walked as quickly as possible into Maccas but it was no escape, they were walking around in there asking for money while you sat eating. I was feeling very intimidated ...

      Today we travelled from Quebec to Montreal having a couple of stops along the way. On arrival, the bus dropped us off in the old part of town, and Fiona gave us a couple of hours free time for lunch, browsing and exploring.
