"The ineffable beauty of the scene transcends time and place to being an awareness of the eternal beyond and of a closeness to it. "
    -Elsie Reford.

We reached the Village of Ste. Flavie early in the afternoon and found a campsite right on the St Lawrence Seaway. You can see the view from our front window. This part of the seaway is in the tidal zone and we could smell the ocean even before we got out of the RV. Our plan is to spend the afternoon visiting a 100 ...

Man, we all work like well-oiled machines! We were all showered, taken down and pulling out of the campground by 6:45, just like planned. Once onto the ferry we were all hungry so we had a nice hot breakfast. We all went back up to the outdoor deck and Debbie received a text from father-they were heading to Truro because uncle John was taken to the hospital. We are sitting here worrying about him ...

... night’s entertainment we have ever had on board ship.

We also had the Captain’s farewell show and party where he admitted that we had actually lost an anchor back in Greenland. The anchor had gone down OK, but the rough weather had loosened one of the links and when they came to pull the anchor up, it just was not there on the end of the chain. The anchor has since been replaced at ...

    Churchill Falls to Baie-Comeau

My lake side camping spot was scenic but led to a chilly night. I'm awake at 6:30 to see the sun rise over the mist covered lake. By 8 im ready to leave and make the very cold morning ride towards Labrador City. Note to self - don't worry with early starts, they are too cold! My fingers are freezing even with the bar heaters on. There isn't a cloud in the sky and I'm waiting for the sun to warm me. By mid morning it's warmer and I've completed the final 250km of ...
