    ... us back to the Munich HBF. In the Munich HBF, we grabbed a quick dinner, and caught a train back to Ulm. All in all, it was about a 15-hour day for us. Phew!

    ... was an area of moat and wall to protect the city from the Franks and the Mongols. Eventually the wall was torn down, but the decision was made to retain the area as parkland for the people. It was a lovely walk, with lots of pedestrians and even more people on bikes. It really is a pity it isn't better maintained.
