    ... I get very nervous about heights, and I'm in living fear of falling and breaking something, now that my balance is less than perfect. We tipped him well!

    After a shower we had a drink in our cabin before dining in the Main Dining Room (MDR), where I enjoyed soft-shelled crab as an appetizer. Both of us chose the prime rib for the main course, which was excellent.

    We're booth looking forward to a sea day (river day?) tomorrow...

    ... Baddek, a very small town is famous for being the home of Alexander Graham Bell who invented much more than the telephone. Unfortunately his house is rarely open but a museum was in the town, but it wasn't very interesting. Fortunately, the drive there and back was scenic. 14th May- Sailing the Saint Lawrence River.     ... And to make it all even better, although pretty cool – about 4C – it was the most gloriously sunny day.

    We were able to buy tickets for the Hop on Hop off buses – we could do two tours for $20 each which was really a bit of a bargain. So we hopped on the first one which took us to the Chicoutimi area of the city. We got off there in Racine Street and wandered around that area, checking out a few shops and stopping for a coffee ...

    ... then went to see Paul Tanner a song impressionist. May 11 - Arrived St John today. Very old but not really a very interesting place. We just wandered around the Market Square and then went back to the ship for coffee and lunch. The weather has been beautiful up to date ranging from 23 to 27 deg yesterday but as we head north it will get colder, only 13 deg today. May 12 - Arrived in Halifax today to bagpipes and drums at the terminal but what a non event ...
