Rome today. This was our longest tour 11 hours. We left the rome port and drove straight to Vatican city.People everywhere, it was packed and they said it was a quite day. Dress code is very strict must have shoulders and knees covered.Went into the Vatican museums which were excellent and then into the Sistine chapel. What an amazing place. ... through the park to go to Piazzo Popolo. Got lost a few times (that will be a common theme) but finally got there and enjoyed the overlook of the city. A lemon and chocolate gelato helped keep us cool. Also checked out a beautiful church right on the Piazzo. We then hoofed it to the Spanish steps through the mazes of designer stores.
