The Hotel is secure as there are men stationed at every Accommodation area and in strategic points all over the place. Visitors cant just walk in without passing through the reception. However, the service at the restaurant needs improvement, room painting, and wardrobe and bathroom needs touchup. Reception male toilet stinks and has no light

On Sunday we made the road trip from Lagos to Benin City in order to meet with the local congregation and to arrange for personal visits with as many brethren as were available for such.

The total drive time for the trip was 5 hours. Conditions on the road were favorable with only a few traffic jams to hold us up. One of our most memorable sights along the way was seen while stopped in traffic. The driver of the ...

He encouraged the brethren to chose to obey God when things are conducive and good and not just do our own thing until God brings trials on us to lead us to repentance, just like Samson who had to have his eyes gouged out and enslaved as a grinder in a prison, suffering beatings and ...

9:45am: Leaving Lagos after a huge breakfast (first time I've seen bacon, cheese and milk, proper milk anyway since leaving Europe!). In good spirits even though it had been bucketing down since 1am and still drizzling! The good spirits quickly faded, we're on the way to Benin city, ideally to by pass and stay in a " town before we go to Calabar. Distance 322km, expected arrival time 2pm. Its a bank holiday in *****ia so we're hoping the traffic ...

Due to my poor choice of a time and everyone's busy schedule, I have made this a smaller trip.
      Get yourself to Reed's Lake!
Park at Remington Park on Reeds Lake Boulevard. We can paddle rafts out past the weeds, swim around and drink beer at sea. Wear old crummy SHOES.

... help him? I think I know why.

By early afternoon the clouds were clearing and the temperature started to soar. I watched the countryside go by as well as watching the film, "Slumdog Millionaire". We passed through the town of Ouro and there some people stopped the truck with tyre stingers and demanded money to go past. After an hour or so of arguing, the stalemate was broken by a driver coming ...
