... about 7 years ago. We're very lucky that she has a one bedroom with a delightful kitchen and comfortable hide-a-bed. After Shea gets home and Joan joins us, we head out to TriBeca for dinner at "Distilled". It turns into a delightful meal with wonderful food and drinks, enhanced by the chef's courteous welcoming drinks and extra tidbits to try. Wonderful Celebration and yummy food.

... but the snow as so bad, we couldn't see the trail to know where to walk. By the time we made a pit stop and found the a trail head sign, it was noon. We decided to move along and head to Portland, OR!

We drove approximately 226 miles to the Multinomah Falls and then to Portland, OR. We didn't actually get to see the falls as it was 3:00 PM on a Sunday of a holiday. We should have known better.
