... of truffle. Surprisingly good! For main course I had duck with a rich blackberry jus while Fletcher tried the Elk. Mine was very tasty though a little fatty but there was plenty of it. Fletcher really enjoyed the Elk, soft and tasty and not "gamey". For dessert I had to try the Candy Creme Brulee while Fletcher had a Grand Marnier souffle which was light and delicious. The brulee made about 8 on the Chambery scale with the top being a little too sweet and chewy. We ...

... that bit off! It'll be BART to SFO, flight to Portland, and Metro to the hotel so I'm positioned well for Union Station and the next bit of the journey. Portland, also known as City of Roses, for being weird, home to the scissor sisters and the most green public transport in the US. And is very pedestrian friendly too, apparently. ... completely turned around, has been married for 8 years and looks wonderful. We walked away with tears in our eyes.

Next we walked the moorage and were able to identify our boat house even though it has been remodeled (they didn't get rid of the dent in the side ---another story there).

Next stop Mahers Irish Pub in Lake Oswego where we met up with Joleen and her "Monday Night Happy Hour Group"
