    ... and water….. Man, that was rough.

    We woke up before 3 am after fitful sleeps to get ‘er done and catch a cab to the airport at 4 am. We stopped through O’hare on the way to Newark. We’re staying at my college buddy’s place in New York’s Upper East Side. (Thanks Darrin!).

    After all the worries, we have no regrets and look forward to the journeys that lay ahead.

    ... one of 4 that John Deere have in Waterloo, and is about 20 hectares under one roof - the second largest covered area in the US! Only the Boeing factory has a bigger covered space. They employ 7,000 staff and turn out thousands of tractors a year - they wouldn't tell us the exact number. The tour was very well conducted - and so it should be when 38,000 people do it each year - it was very professional and we saw ...
