    Had a nice supper at Pam's Pub and Grub. Maggie and I shared the chicken fried steak and hash browns. Yummmmeeee!     After 7 hours, we made it to Cornhuskerland! Here's a picture of Maggie and her college buddy, JoAnn, with whom we will be staying tonight. The ride was easy, no bad weather.     ... have ridden through in Nebraska have had either oil refineries or grain silos right in the middle of town. When we got to a town called Shelton we took a break and did our laundy at a laundromat. Then we watched a DVD in the RV. From there it was an easy 16 mile ride into Grand Island.     ... river. Quite a few people also chose this spot for the night watch of the birds. Nothing happened for about an hour. Then, at sunset, the flocks of cranes came from every direction to find a place near the river. The lines of birds in the sky did not seem to end. There were groups of just three or four and groups of hundreds. We overheard that they fly with their family. I guess that makes sense.
