Page, Arizona, United States mleleu... the man said as our hearts raced and then quickly were put back into check. It was a 2-some so there were 8 slots left. The next number picked was barely heard because of the immediate screams of 5 boisterous Italians who celebrated their victory after trying unsuccessfully for 3 previous days straight. 7 slots gone, and 3 left. It was now or never for us. The next number was ...
Page, Arizona, United States chrismyers... of the different hiking possibilities. We chose the "most popular" trail, hoping that this wouldn't mean that we would be walking it in one long procession with thousands of other visitors. Even so, it was the best pick since it was listed as "the greatest 3-mile hike in the world". Sounds promising... The trailhead was at Sunset point, a fantastic lookout over the wide expanse of the Bryce Canyon amphitheatre. Spread out below us were rocky ...
Page, Arizona, United States lauravanwaas... had a camera and I had my spare 'point and shoot' camera as back up. After going through and hearing a brief history of how the canyons were discovered, we were back on our trucks, this time avoiding and puddles we saw like the plague. If you cannot get a good picture of the inside of the canyon, there are plenty of postcard shots to help you remember.
Page, Arizona, United States cab514... speed to Page, at least according to the terms of officer J. Cirosen and he is right. We drove 72 where we only were allowed 65 mh. Frans, for all clarity, the driver at that moment, tried to talk a few miles of but the result remains the same: an official written warning for violating speed limits. Within the permitted speed limit we now drive the remaining miles to Page. Here we found the Antelope Canyons. We can choose from a quiet ...

Page, Arizona, United States remyarnou... tour did not get that... just take pictures. Could not take enough pictures, 2 hours flew by. Must have taken hundreds of pictures. It was not a very sunny day or the angle of the sun or the time of the year, we did not get to take picture of the 'beam' where the sun shines thru the gap on top hitting the bottom of the slot with sun beam. I have seen pictures of up to 3 beams in one spot. It was also a bit windy so tiny grand of sand is ...
Page, Arizona, United States penguinx... a couple of years ago, when a flash flood flooded it. They can't take any chances. Fingers crossed though! As I write this, Lyn has fallen asleep diagonally across one of the beds, and the 3 kids have fallen asleep in the other bed. Don't quite know where I fit in tonight ......, at least we've gained an hour though, a sArizona is an hour behind Utah. That'll mean an hour more sleep, if I can find room.....
Page, Arizona, United States cusan... all the people who crossed there and the desolation that awaiting them either side it was incredible what people were capable of back in the late 1800's. We drove back to Page and go a few things before slobbing around in the room and spending some ...
Page, Arizona, United States marty_chrissie... s a stepped canyon and the white trail on the middle level looks beautiful. We then walked a rocky/sandy trail to see the Mesa Arch. Next up was a drive out to Whale Rock and then a stop at Shafer Point which proved to be a great echo point. As well as having a great echo it also gave us views of the road down to the lower canyon - for which we would need a better 4x4 and some Dutch courage. We took in a good video at the visitors centre before heading back to town ...
