... Hornillos and it just got colder as the wind picked up. The higher we went the colder it got and we didn't hit Hontanas (coffee break) for 10 k's. ... sludge and mud in a head wind across the high tableland before Hontanas. The mud was that bad that 2 bikers broke their gearing set up on their bikes with the mud just caking up on their wheels/frames and had to push them the rest of the way in to the village.
