A travel blog entry by addyp on Sep 22, 2015

Addy is being quite the trooper. We had to ask for the extra pushes of pain med last night almost every hour, but from 7AM to noon today, she managed fairly well with just the standard drip in her IV. ... br> I spent the next few days in bed with one of the worst doses of flu I've ever had. Fortunately I was staying with Shirley in Atascadero, so was well looked after, but it meant sadly that my planned trip to Los Angeles didn't happen.
After a few days we took a road trip to Monterey, stopping all along the way at various towns like Big Sur, Carmel, Cayucos and Montecito. What a beautiful route - magnificent scenery. ...
