... rad RV's that they hired for 6weeks, such a sweet idea, maybe we could do it next yr for coachella! Steph had an interesting night, at 3.30am her tent was leaking from the pelting rain she thought was outside. She sat their for half an hour hoping it would pass but no luck, she peeped her head out to fix the fly, and while she got drenched, wondered why it wasn't raining anywhere else. It dawned on her that she was in the firing line of the sprinklers! ...

A nice fine day and not as hot as Monday. 3 good games 1 kiwi team, 1 Canadian and 1 team from Canberra. We have had a good draw this festival and played most countries once. We had a big of a scare in the first game with one of our virgins (first timer) broken but it turned out to be a strained ...

Today we woke up early and got to the San Diego zoo at 8:30. We bought our tickets and waited for the zoo to open. We took the orientation bus ride around the park before we set off on foot. The zoo is beautiful from the animals to the trees, flowers. The highlight was the Pandy bears and new Koala bear exhibit that opened today. We also took the arial team, ate lunch in the tree top for the Memorial ...

This adventure actually began last April, in Chiang Mai, where our last adventure supposedly came to an end. We spent our final two weeks there before flying back home to Canada and for the life of me I could not force myself to write the final edition to the travel blog to wrap the Asian adventure up. We had enjoyed frolicking through Cambodia and Myramar so much - we just could not cope with it coming to an end. The plan for this winter was Central America. ...

... was built around the same time as the Oyster Box in umhlanga and has a similar look although on a much bigger scale. San Diego is an important base for the US navy so big military ships and helicopters abound but other than that it seems very peaceful and nice. It is perhaps a better place to live than to visit as a tourist, but it was a good day trip from LA for ...
