... staying in a three room loft that has everything. The back yard looks out onto a gorgeous hill. Speaking of the back yard it is to die for, hot tub, built in fire pit, BBQ, eating and sitting areas all fenced in by a stone and glass wall. What a treat to go out and have your morning coffee here. Our hosts are wonderful and have been very helpful in guiding us around. Ron in ...

Another beautiful day for our journey to San Diego. We were away from Indian Palms by 10:15. Our journey took us south from Indio on Hwy 74 to I-15 into San Diego. There were a lot of Veterans about, all happy to talk about the planes and the Midway, also on where we should be going on our tour of the west Coast! Heading up theCoast tomorrow to Las Angeles. San Diego is lovely, we have had a lovely drive around. ...

We arrive early (about 9:00 order to assure ourselves of easy parking), grab a map of the altars and head to O'Hungrys for breakfast. As we walk San Dieago Avenue in Old Town, we come across the weekly street fair. Several of the altars are set up and several of the paper machai and wire statues are on display.
