... the true wonders of the world (pun intended). The amount of water that is cascading over American and Horseshoe Falls at any given moment cannot be properly described, only experienced. To finish off the day me make a quick international excursion to get the best perspective. Standing on the Canadian side, we finally get a proper perspective of how enormous the falls truly are.

... flew around. It was a real experience.
The tour group then headed back to Buffalo airport where we hoed-in to a dinner of Buffalo Wings (as you do!).

Late night flight back to JFK/NY wrapped up a very long, exciting, and spectacular day trip.
Again a late night as we were placed in a 15 minute holding pattern while President Obabma's Air-force 1 took off from the runway. Apparently he is not allowed to share.

We had a great first day of driving. The kids worked on their first location in the book I made for them. Believe it or not they liked it. Then they watched a movie about Niagara Falls (twice). ... back on the surface we continued on to Terrapin point. This was a viewing point which took you out over the Horseshoe Falls. Although you could see the whole falls from the Canadian side this was still a good viewing point. We sat down and enjoyed the views. Then we continued back over to where we had started in the morning. This gave us an opportunity to visit the observation desk which was the only point on American side you could see both waterfalls together. ...
