From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. Located 250 meters under ground are loads of stalagmites, stalactites, draperies, soda straws and popcorn. Soda straws being the tiny ones hanging from the ceiling . In Europe we call them Spaghetti. Popcorn are located on the ground. The cavern is beautiful, but we saw an even more beautiful cavern in Slovenia last year, so were a little spoilt. ...

The next day, we went to Mama's work where there was a grand Elmo party. It was great to see everyone. Addy really enjoyed the salami and honey sesame cashews! She also loved the frosting off the cake. There were so many presents! We had clothes, books, a shopping cart, hand-painted personalized Frozen shoes, ...

Just as I was approaching my destination my GPS went haywire and would not calculate the last part of the journey. Switched to the mobile phone (Google Maps) which got me there.
