Today we had an off day. We were supposed to work 7-10:30, but another couple who didn't have a job relieved us for our shift. It was really nice of them, but we also messed up. FMCA is serving breakfast each morning. We had decided last night that we would get up early and go into breakfast, so I set the alarm for 5:30. The alarm went off and we stayed in bed for a while. ... about 300 coaches in attendance. That is about half of what attended the last 6-State we attended and only about 100 more than what is already here. Anyway, there was a steady stream of coaches of all shapes and sizes arriving while we watched.

That changed this morning when one of the drivers became very ill and had to drop out, so then I was asked to drive a truck and trailer instead.
The drive to Cleveland was a long one and since we haven’t done much driving at all since ...
Well - all my stuff made it. Including the 'dead body' (kite). The guys at Customs Inspection really liked that.
Of course, the other passengers were also looking at me funny.
It didn't help that Krista was waiting for me to take a photo after coming out of secondary inspection. I'll have to see if I can get that photo from her camera.
