By the time we got out of the car at a petrol station this morning, the attendant had already taken the cap off and was ready to fill up! He also found us comical and was in hysterics. Everyone has been friendly and we were even offered a cup of coffee as we were waiting to pay for petrol. Breakfast done we went into the Rym shopping centre. This place is huge, high end shops and a glass roof. Heading into the Kremlin guards, stand guard by the tomb of the unknown solider. Unlike many tourist attractions elsewhere in the world there are few signs. So a bit of guess work and, following the crowds led us ...

... the station. So we walked to the streets and were lucky to hail a cab just a little later which brought us back to our hotel.

Tonight, we went for our “Welcome/Farewell” dinner. Ekaterina from ABT offered to take us to a local restaurant. Her boss Vadim send her a list recommended dishes – a great choice for sure. So we ended up with raw herring and potatoes, Uzbek tomatoes with greens, homemade pickles, Russian salad etc. I had a nice Russian beer and the ...
