Prague

To get from Dresden to Prague, I used for the first time what would become a very valuable online tool for the next few weeks: a website called Mitfahrgelegenheit. This is basically a carpooling network, where you search or post rides around Europe, and it's VERY used in central Europe, so finding a quick and cheap ride between the two cities was …

Cafe Louvre

Albert Einstein used to frequent Cafe Louvre regularly on a Tuesday evening, as he worked in The Prague German University (1911-12) If this alone is not reason enough to visit this cafe then hopefully from what I say in the following will convince you.

The big open hallway and staircase sets up this cafe of grandeur. Upon entrance into …

Day 22

A travel blog entry by banvilleabroad

Getting back to the hostel at 6:30am or so was interesting. The British girls, Sophie and Steph, didnt have time to do anything other than pack their bags and head out the door. We said our goodbyes and they headed off to continue their journey in Amsterdam. Me, Fiona and Nisal tried to get some sleep before we all went our separate ways. We got …

Day 23

A travel blog entry by banvilleabroad

As you could imagine, waking up on day 23 was not the most pleasant thing I've ever experienced. After partying in Berlin on my last day there and only getting 3 hours of sleep, and then partying my first night in Prague until about 6am, I was not in the best shape. But I didnt want to miss out on anything so I got up, got dressed, and headed out …

Czech it out

A travel blog entry by cmdoeurope

Another long train ride from Berlin to Praha (we're getting better at them though...). After the initial shock of not being able to pronounce any of the Czech words...we actually found the hostel easily enough. It was hands down one of our favorite cities so far, and our hostel definitely didn't hurt. Our room was rally modern and almost like a …

Best hostel I've ever stayed in

Really great conditions and presentation. The place still looks new and fresh and it has everything you may want from a hostel (or should I say hostel-hotel hybrid?).

    Recommended to the fullest.

    Best hostel I've stayed in!

A clean, eco-friendly hostel with the most comfortable beds. At very reasonable rates for the centre of Prague, this hostel offers backpackers an ideal base for their stay. Also, it's the start of the pub crawl!
