Our last 5am wake up! We headed out for the morning safari drive with heavy hearts, this is our last full day in South Africa. The lion was still chewing his way through the rhino which was becoming increasingly stinky! Our guide was determined to find John and I a secretary bird as it was our last chance and we hadn't yet seen one. ... we were driving through. They were the most dangerous animals, of course, that were in cages or fenced in. Made it difficult to get good shots through the wire. Once we finished up at the Farm Inn we headed back to Jannie's where we can even hear the lions roar from there. Nice.

Tomorrow we plan to visit and tke a tour of a diamond mine.

Now feeling a little abandoned by our big yellow home we waited to hear from Tracey as to how we should get to Pretoria. She rang informing us that Curt, her little brother, would pick us up around 4pm. We took the opportunity to fill the day with a movie before anxiously waiting for the arrival of my step brother.
