... rifles hanging out next to it. Welcome to Johannesburg! We parked the car, walked up and down checking out the places to drink, chose a spot and went upstairs to its balcony bar. There was a rugby game on and a huge group of people singing and yelling at the TV, and we settled in with a trio of tequila shots and ordered 3 jugs of cocktails. Before long we were joined by two of Cams friends who ordered more cocktails and we all hung out there for a few hours.

... up carcasses, but now people don't want to see these carcasses lying around so they remove them, removing then vultures source of food. Vulture kitchens are now being set up farms. When a rhino or elephant has been slaughtered by poachers for its horns/ tusks, vultures start circling which give away the killing to the game rangers so the poachers put poison down to kill the vultures. It is so sad how many rhino has been slaughtered for their horns and sent to China ...

Made it to our hotel near the airport in Joburg. Nice hotel but a bit noisy. In bed by 6:30pm awake at 3:30am but some how Managed to stay in bed until 5am. Breakfast at 6:30am, our only non airline or airport meal in what seems like ages! Decided to go to the airport early. Well…after 2 and half months our time in South Africa has come to an end. With our flight leaving at midnight there was not a lot of time left so we got our clothes together and packed up early in the morning until Eli and Louise were off work at noon.
