Un alt punct de interes este si Capul Kaliakra (la 35 km.), un superb promotoriu, in prezent zona protejata.

Cele mai apropiate orase mari sunt Varna (la 40 de km) si Dobrich (35 km). Albena, una dintre cele mai mari statiuni de pe coasta Bulgariei este la 10 km distanta. Un autobuz va poate duce acolo daca doriti.

We were tossing and turning on what to do in Bulgaria..we had to make it to Crete in Greece by the end of the month. With that in mind, I had a Bulgarian friend in Sofia as well, but told Sofia was not worth our time! Catch 22…

We decided to chill on the beach town of Varna for 2 nights and head to Veliko Tarano in central Bulgaria, but with no trains to Turkey and no buses from Veliko, fate had made our minds up! We stayed at Varna for 2 nights ...

... 305;ved 30 mınutes late and took longer than usual at the border crossıng we ınevıtably mıssed our connectıng traın to Varna, so had to waıt a couple of hours for the next traın, whıch we found out (once we were already on ıt and movıng) was the wrong traın. ... sivukujalta. Pubissa valaisijana toimivat ainoastaan kyntteliköt ja koko pubi oli kyhätty laudoista ja lankuista. Todella tunnelmallinen kellarimesta. Pienenä vaarana oli yläkerta, jossa ei nähnyt sitäkään vähää ja lattiassa oli reunassa laihan ihmisen mentävä reikä. Kukaan ei tällä kertaa pudonnut sinne. Näihin kumpaankaan paikkaan en olisi itsekseni ikinä eksynyt, joten iso kiitos isänille ja emännille. Aivan loistavia mestoja kumpikin!
