There is still a lot of repair work happening and also a lot of buildings left abandoned with severe damage. We head to a small village in the alps called Santo Stefano di Sessanio. It is very small and has amazing views across to the snow capped alps. We have lunch in il restoro degli elfi (restaurant of the elf!) Gilberto is certainly taking the quest to find elves and ...

Quite a cool morning as we walked up to the first fort. This was ...

... up to the top Mount Titano where the old city sits overlooking the beautiful surrounding countryside. There is a castle with protection towers that follow the top of the cliff face. The view from the towers is breathtaking. We also visited the cathedral and got to experience an Italian wedding and hear the beautiful pipe organ and violin. They didn't seem to mind us sitting in the back of the church with a number of other tourists. We also visited the ...

Well this has to go down as the worst day of the whole tour. The coterie of Croatian school kids/students set up a disco in the deck just behind the Pullman seat lounge and the pounding music continues into the early hours. I feel like throwing them all overboard.

Morning eventually comes. Ari is constantly checking with the crew, and reports that ...
