We woke early in Zermatt to check out, take in one last look around the beautiful little town and jump about the famous Glacier Express train along UNESCO heritage railways to our final destination of St Moritz. Today we planned to catch a local bus to a small alpine village that was somewhere high above us unfortunately we awoke in low dense cloud and mountains quite obscured and so a restful day instead. ... think fairly tolerant with pricing but this place is outrageously expensive. Maybe we are just doing badly against the Swiss Franc -- but it is enough for to encourage one to become a tea totaller but only then if you had brought your own teabags, which we had. And so you do feel rather like the captive tourist contributing significantly to the wealth of this 24x24 kilometre beautiful principality or at least to the lifestyle of the Prince who resides in the castle that towers above.
