It was a very windy night and the cyclone had been increased to class 2 - at 3 it gets serious and we'll be stuck in our rooms. It was a very gloomy day with constant heavy rain showers so we set ourselves up in the cosy bar. The beach had been cleared of umbrellas and loungers and all cushions were taken off chairs and loungers, so the hotel were obviously prepared for the worst. My aunties and uncles for your endless kindness and generosity to myself and my dad be it lunches, dinners, special events or just plain hanging out, I'm really going to miss you all and already am looking forward to returning as soon as possible.

... in our hotel restaurant was good, better than the overpriced prawn curry that Alice ordered - it had only 5 prawns in it.
Also there was the very nice open-air restaurant at Grande Baie, where we ate lunch twice.
Unmemorable pizza place - Borsalino - on Waterfront, outside cybercafe, at Port Louis.
Very inexpensive local place in Port Louis, where we ate vegetable rotis and tasty snacks.
