... Hill. Spent some time there then headed back to Port Louis to drop by the chinese pagoda where LS was having a service for his dad who passed away a year ago. Had some 'lentils doux' and 'vooyens'. And guess who we met there? Ah Ken Pak Meh - magasin Gazella! She is now 89 years old but still very talkative and in a great frame of mind. Amazing! ... There were some great views of the surrounding area and the grounds inside the park are also nice. However, the main thing we came for was to have a “lion encounter”. We had such a great experience with that in Thailand with the tigers that we had to take this opportunity... This was actually a really good deal, as we could spend 15 minutes in the lion enclosure for only about $18.

There were about 6 or so lions hanging ...

Sultana is an executive of their family owned business which imports most of the steel and timber into Mauritius. She is extremely knowledgeable of the region and gave some great insights into the ways of the Mauritian people and just how this could affect development in the region.
