I flew into a snow storm and out of a snow storm so travelling to see friends was very difficult. I couldn't even get to a grocery store to buy supplies before I left so I went shopping in my sister's pantry. Thanks Shannon! The storm was so bad they closed JFK and I had to cancel my flight and get a new one ...
Final Thoughts on Ecuador and the Galapagos
We had asked for a 4:30 AM taxi to the airport for our 7:30 AM flight. We got everything loaded into the taxi and it wouldn't start so they called another taxi. We ended our trip the same way it started, running red lights on the road to the airport.
