The weather cooperated until we were finished and then the rain came down at Sand Beach. We caught the bus back to Jordan Pond and had the popovers and lemonade one last time.
We really had a great time visiting Acadia National Park. If you haven't been hopefully you can put it on your bucket list.

A good day. Went to town via tender from the ship and did some shopping. Three ships in port so probably 10,000 visitors to this town of 5000. Bar Harbor is a summer cottage area for New Englanders and is really beautiful with its rocky shores but no heat in homes ...
... then back to the motel, shuttle into Bar Harbor for some shopping and then back to grab dinner at the lobster pound across the street. I have to ask someone why all these places are called lobster pounds. Anyway, I had a cup of lobster bisque and a piece of blueberry pie. The bisque was delicious!
