We awoke this morning to a beautiful sunny calm day. Overnight we cruised from Halifax to Bar Harbor Maine or as the Yanks call it Baa Harba. No docking facilities at Bar Harbor, hence the Captain will drop anchor about one half kilometre from shore. ... bar to explore Bar Island, fish off the bridge or just take in the views looking back at Bar Harbor. Because Hurricane Arthur (turned tropical storm) was slowly rolling towards Bar Harbor, we quickly walked over and back before heading into town to explore the shops.

So once cleared, Laetisha and I boarded the tender boat and set off for Bar Harbor. We didn't have any fixed plans today given our tour was cancelled but as it was such lovely weather, we decided to simply explore the area and see where the day took us.
