Risto offered to take us into town to buy our bus tickets to Kotor since the online sale ended 24 hours before departure. We just missed it. And Deanne needs a special kind of contact lens solution, so he also took us to a mall to an Optika, or eyeglass store. ... delight and has little of the awful ugly buildings which are sadly so much feature of Croatia. The old towns are gorgeous and fit in the landscape. Most of the new buildings are both ugly and either unfinished or look shoddily constructed. ... Stari Grad. Its a cute little town not far from Hvar town which is our stop tomorrow night. We docked in the marina tonight instead of anchoring so we were able to walk onto the shore and go around the town. Our first stop was gelato! It was so good we even went back for seconds. ... now, and had spent 2 weeks in Croatia. That's the lifestyle :-). He gave us a link to his short stories he wrote while on some of his trips, which we will check out once we have some good wifi and some down time to read them. So far we've found the English to be the most friendly!!
