It was then time for some football and our new friend played to - her name was Barbara. She was very vocal and felt every time she kicked the ball that it was a goal no matter where it went. ... them the way to the house. He assisted us in getting our luggage down to the house via a cable and pulley system. We were made very welcome with some cakes and home grown figs provided for afternoon tea. The house was well set up and had an amazing view from the front balcony, over the old town of Dubrovnic, over the bay and we could even see the cable ...

... It was another rocky beach, but smaller rocks. I went for the obligatory paddle and hobbled back from the water over the rocks in between all sorts of body shapes enjoying the sunshine. I did ask my husband and friends to tell me when its time to give up on the bikini, because apparently in Europe you don't ever stop wearing the bikini, even though the rest of us may not be appreciating your effort!

... it too last minute or we wouldn't get a spot on the boat. It was about three weeks earlier that we locked it in and we secured for ourselves the last two places, in the last available room, for the trip sailing north from Dubrovnik to Split over seven nights and we were really looking forward to it. Monday 1st September.
Hello from Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Sailed into another majestic entrance to the harbour of Dubrovnik where we would again use the tender boats to go ashore. We did have a tour organised for this stop, a trip to Mostar in Bosnia Hercegovina to see the famous single span bridge and then hopefully a quick tour around the old fortified town of Dubrovnik, but unfortunately due to expected bad weather coming, instead of the original 11.00pm back ...
