... the rest of the family and went to the fish market.
Wow. The fish market. What a site. I would guess over 200 vendors selling every thing coming out of the sea. I don’t know enough English words that could express this experience so take a look at the photos. After the fish market I went to my ...

It was a 3 hour bus ride so we slept a lot on the way. Found a place to sleep and now we're at a PC Bang agian. We're going to relax at the Sauna/Spa place later today to spend a day relaxing. Well until we are refreshed, c ya later. JP Out

Busan, Korea Rep. ct_sigchi... a month :) Feel free to contact me if you have any specific questions about anything. Language: The Korean language is "Hongeul." However, South Korea has enthusiastically been accepting English into it's society. In fact, most foreigners you come across will be an English teacher of some sort. Most public places have signs in English, particularly subways, trains, and busses, so never fear. Most taxi drivers can communicate a little bit in English ...
Busan, Korea Rep. missyjoymel... my friend Tera from San Marcos, came to visit. We had a lot of fun. I had good practice showing people around by this time, so I pretty much thought I knew what to expect. Tera's visit coincided with Korea's Thanksgiving/Honor the ancestors Day, Chuseok. SO, we had a good five days off to run around Busan. The day before Chuseok, Tera came to my school--as an honored guest--I might add... My VP treated her like she was a princess ...
Sajik-tong, Busan, Korea Rep. missyjoymel... customs, I head towards the Haeundae area and a highly recommended youth hostel. The gleeming structure has all kinds of facilities including a golf driving range and conference rooms. Judging by the empty halls, I think this is the main business and youth hostelling is on the side. Checked in, I explore the local area with what is supposed to be the best beach in Korea and lots of tourist facilities. The following day brings torrential rain all ...
Busan, Korea Rep. bastin79... was taken at the Restaurant in the hotel was good. Lavishly expensive though. Day 5 Jeju Island Tour After a brisk breakfast, I was waiting faithfully for the arrival of the Jeju Trolley Bus which hopefully will bring a glimpse of Jeju Island for a first-timer like me. The red coloured vehicle was in sight on time but it was a van instead of a tour bus as advertised in the brochure. I was wondering as to why the concierge lady argued with the ...

Busan, Korea Rep. schwate... it was back to the shuttle and the sanity of the ship! Things were not too much better there. Three working barges had pulled up to the ship unloading the blidges, loading fuel and water. This odor had wafted through the whole shipof diesel fuel and other unpleasant things. Deciding this was the right time for a cold shower and an escape from the environment, we snuggled down for a well deserved nap.
Pusan, Korea Rep. kenped... very nice. It had plush seats that fully reclined with as much leg room as the Shinkensen. We had reserved seats, and were the only ones in the car for the first ten minutes. At the next stop we picked up a girl who sat right across from us. She immediately closed the curtain (blocking our seaside view) and began chatting on her cell phone. People began to flood the train as we made all of the local stops. Two adorable little girls occupied the ...
