Took the train from Nuremberg to Munich. Encountered a group of refugees. Pretty difficult to get through with all the police that were there as well. I thought we might miss our train!! We didn't miss this connection although it is really full. One more transfer and we will be in ...

... It is truly a beautiful place. Plenty of people walking around in traditional Austrian clothing. There is a band playing at the end of the pedestrian mall. The sun is shining and its lovely and warm. I could get used to this little piece of paradise. That is until winter comes.

Sunday is a travel day. 3 trains and 1 bus to get to the next destination which is Bled, Slovenia. I hope i have timed all the connections properly, or i will be in trouble.

We are currently in Freilassing, which is in Bavaria Germany and is less than 10kms from Salzburg.

We began our morning by fixing my bike up after the fall on Sunday night. Good old Paul can fix anything :-) the bikes have been great this trip. We have been really lucky with them, especially considering they were both second hand and are by no means touring bikes. Paul's is suffering a little with all the weight. His chain has completely stretched and doesn't quite ...

... pristinely preserved making this city so special to visit.
We stroll along to see the "Pferdeschwemme", The Getreidegasse (the loveliest shopping streets in the world), The Residence Place, The Mozart Place until we end up at the banks of the Salzach River. From here we can see the Festung Hohensalzburg on top of the Monchsberg, find a spot in the sun ...
