... finally arrived at the 7000 year-old salt-mining town of Hallstatt. This town was a "must-see" for us as we have a jigsaw of it & we wanted to see it in person. Unfortunately, despite the weather being perfect, the sun was in the wrong position for us to get really clear "jigsaw" pictures, so we had to be content with the views from the other end of the town.
