... never spent time in the Wells Grey area. What a beautiful place to stay especially if you are interested in hiking. We hiked into see Spahats Falls and then further on to a view point of the river and valley. I think we tired the dogs out today. Again lots of tourists out and about, we meet folks from Liverpool, Shetland Islands and Australia. Great time for tourists with our dollar being so low they get more bang for their buck.

... in the air and another again later. After yet another beautiful lakeside picnic we dropped the adventurous ones ( ie the oldest ones) for 3hrs of canoeing whilst we had tea and apple cake. We did do a little more exploring in walking through some woods, seeing carpets of mushrooms, tiny frogs, seeing creeks, and hitting a little sandy bay at the riverside where some put their feet in. We finished the day at Helmcken falls, twice ...

And the wifi is so bad, I'm once again using ...

... over and sure enough soon we were rained on, luckily it didn't last long and Libby was soon back in the water. Unfortunately we didn't see any terrapins but there were lots of baby frogs being dug up by children on the shoreline. About 5.30 we decided to pack up and go to the supermarket to buy some dinner to eat at the b & b, lucky we did as a massive rainstorm came over whilst we were shopping and all the way home. A dinner and trashy television was a good end to a lazy ...

The Waterfalls of Clearwater

We didn't really know what to expect of this little town. We couldn't find out much information before we arrived and only knew that our cabin was some distance out of town. A visit to the Visitors' Centre gave us the impression that the area was most recognised for its waterfalls. Well, that's exactly right! Our cabin was in the middle of the forest and all we could hear was the stream running at the edge of the property and the ...
