... road was smooth and Charlie was chomping at the bit, a bit. The farms were looking good all along the way and some of the farmers were in the fields harvesting their crops. It was kind of fun to see those big machines gobbling up huge chunks of corn and beans. They sure beat the 2 row corn picker my dad had to deal with...Ahhhh progress.

... gun. Mike came out to the range and let us shoot the M&P Shield 9MM for free!! Which was pretty cool because we already had Dan's 380 Bodyguard to shoot.. comparing the two was great. Mike and the staff at Paducah Shooting Supply were so nice and very accommodating. We never thought that we would be able to go to a shooting range on this trip let alone one in Kentucky!!! This day started off ...

From Red Top Mtn. To Nashville, TN

A travel blog entry by hitherthither on Jun 26, 2015

I managed to get a really bad cold so spent the day feeling miserable. Weather was pretty bad as well as was the traffic. This just comes under the heading, "Some days are just like that!". I slept like the dead after going to bed around 9 PM. We only stopped at 7:30 PM cause I kept pulling over to take a power nap. Had a very quick dinner of roast chicken which we bought earlier in the day along with a few other ...
