    Started the day on a tour of Carter Cave. There were enough bats flying around that we started calling Clay 'Robin'. The tour ended with seeing a waterfall in the cave. Very Cool. Next stop was Fort Boonesborough. This is the town founded by Daniel Boone. We got to see what life was like for the Kentucky pioneers in 1775. We saw a weaver, a carpenter, and a blacksmith. We also got to watch as they made charcoal. You simply start a fire, then cover it with dirt and ...

    ... there was nothing wrong with the one I had. :)

    With 3,000 miles to go, I got one anyways. The bike runs like new. The tour goes on...

    Special note: Most of the photos in this entry were taken by Mr. Keller's young grandson Matthew. He is an amazing photographer. His younger brother Mark was inquisitive and very interested while watching us fix the wheel. I'm sure he will be another great Keller mechanic. For the last time, Thank You.

    ... and other animals that they take care of. All of these animals were brought to the center because they were injured or sick and could not live in the wild. The local art fair was amazing. It was far bigger than we thought it would be with unusual art work.

    Tomorrow we drive to Atlanta and another Drury Hotel. They know how to make you feel good. Free cocktails, wine, beer and food in the lobby, and fresh hot pop corn all day and all evening…just go down to the lobby and help yourself. The rooms are cushy, too.

    Today we cycled 72 miles in rolling hills to a tiny town on the Ohio River. We were accommodated in two old, historic homes overlooking the River. The homes are run as bed and breakfast stops so we enjoyed an intimate atmosphere.
