Day 8. We made quite a late start leaving the hotel at 10.30 am. We walked from the Hotel which was located next to the race course back into the old city centre about 25 minutes away by foot. We entered the city at the "Micklegate" from where we walked up onto the city wall. York is an historic walled city. The wall surrounds much of the old city which can be entered by the various gates. Back to the room at 3am to comatose and so completes our christmas party for the year. God it was a different experience to old KPMG christmas parties.
