    Day Sixty Six: Barnsley

A travel blog entry by lcrigby on Jun 11, 2015

The sun was streaming though the window this morning, it was going to be a belter of a day. We didn't go for a walk this morning as we were heading off to Shaw Lane cricket ground in Barnsley as Yorkshire second XI were playing against Northampton second XI in a twenty20. Built on the Georgian English designs that the son had seen in England, it was left to go to ruin until an Austrian company saved what was left, about a quarter. Very nice & peaceful though, and that's what I needed. Ate my snacks, sat in the shade, and read my old book. Very nice.

... work at 6:30, I grab some food, put netfilx on, then sleep. This is repeated most days without fail.

To be honest, I didn't feel 19, I felt like a middle aged woman with no love life and a heap of cats.

Back to the story, so I get in from town and wait for my parents to get home, where I casually inform them that in four short months I will start my journey around the world..
