Leaving Haggis Land!
Even though today was the big day I didn't really feel nervous or excited about the fact I was leaving Baltic Scotland indefinitely, just taking it as if I was just nipping to Edinburgh on the train really. Saying goodbye to mum and dad and the brother at the airport wasn't nearly as emotional as I envisaged it to be, even if mum was a little bit teary as I headed through security. We said a tearful "Auf WIedersehen" to our “Scottish” hostess and then jimmyjammed down the road to Loch Lomond. Well, its 2011 and it's going to be an interesting year! In a few weeks we'll be jetting off to Bangkok for the first few days of our big adventure and we can't wait for it to begin!
