Well, I-10 and I-12 are in no better shape than last trips. It's like riding a roller coaster for 2 hours. Luckily I-49 was much better. We took I-49 North to line up with Hwy 380 in Texas. This is a small 2 lane highway to nowhere. Roswell, The Very Large Array, Valley of the Fires and the Painted Desert are accessible from this road.

The goal is Meridian, MS by suppertime, which should be an easy drive, since we left at 1:30 PM.
