NEGRIL - not to be missed!

... Beaches Guest lounge. Customs on arrival was also effortless, uncrowned and plenty of customs agents to proceed through quickly. (This hasn’t always been my experience). The transfer left for Negril approximately 20 minutes after my arrival in the lounge. Just enough time to grab a quick drink and cookie and head out to our car awaiting. Private car that is. I arrived at a time when I was the only one ...

Nice beaches but the "farmer" is so annoying

I spent almost a week in Negril, a long stretch of beaches along the western tip of Jamaica. Very popular with tourists. Better to walk along the road than the beach at night to/from the restaurant for obvious reasons. Nice sunsets.

A couple of times we also rented fins and went snorkeling on the reef beside the hotel. Although the reef was not very colourful (some blue fan coral and yellow sponges), we did see lots of fish: yellow, blue, black and white striped ones, pointy-nosed fish, sea urchins ...

A perfect final day at Couples

... her four inch heels. The couple from Las Vegas always came to the beach early and reserved one of the palm frond topped beach umbrellas. We never got to the beach early enough to get one. The couple came over to us early in the afternoon and said they had to leave for the rest of the day, so we moved our things under the roof. It makes a real difference to be able to get out of the sun for a few minutes. Romaine would bring our drinks and we would sit in the shade for a ...

Work Finish!

Literally JUST finished my Christmas Treat for all of my students. Overall I think it went well. We ate cake, ice cream (i scream), and patties, colored pictures, did puzzles, danced, and got presents. Well, they got presents, and I only had to hear "Miss, me na waant na dolly!" five or six times. For real, these kids are getting presents ...
